Rainbow Dandelion

Somewhere in between of childhood memories
And adolescent world of reality
I stepped on a coloured rainbow tile.

I took off to a cluster of stars
Each one brighter than the other
Showing me the magic of the sky.

Flown and blown away, I realize
People are strange and alienated
From that childhood serenity.

Smile and wave, be kind and brave
To change the world –
Be the kid society has killed in you.

To all the serious faces
This is a mysterious place
And to them, I must say
I’m only a hopeless dreamer.
